Oval Cut Diamond 1.9960cts I1 Brownish Grey (ECG) Q

This distinctive natural Oval Cut Diamond weighs 1.9960ct and is graded I1 clarity with a Brownish Grey (ECG) Q colour designation, as recorded on EGL South Africa report number 261000311/104221. Its elegant oval shape measures approximately 9.67 × 7.23 × 4.56mm, with a length-to-width ratio of 1.34, creating a beautifully elongated appearance. The diamond's unusual brownish-grey colouring offers an alternative to traditional white diamonds, with subtle earthy and smoky tones that give it individual character. The I1 clarity grade indicates inclusions that may be visible to the naked eye and may affect transparency and brilliance. According to the EGL measurements, the diamond has a total depth of 63.1%, a table of 57.8% and a girdle measuring approximately 4.7% to 4.8%. Accompanied by its EGL grading report, this near-two-carat loose oval diamond provides documented grading and proportion details for buyers seeking a distinctive coloured diamond in South Africa.

At approximately 2 carats, this 1.9960ct oval cut diamond offers an impressive size and distinctive appearance for a bespoke engagement ring, statement cocktail ring, solitaire diamond pendant or personalised fine jewellery creation. Its brownish-grey colour can complement yellow gold and rose gold settings, while creating an interesting contrast in white gold or platinum jewellery designs. The elongated oval silhouette offers versatility for classic claw settings, contemporary solitaire designs and custom jewellery, subject to an assessment of the diamond's inclusions and setting suitability. The combination of its substantial carat weight, Brownish Grey (ECG) Q colour designation, I1 clarity and EGL grading makes this gemstone an appealing choice for clients searching for a two carat oval diamond, natural brownish-grey diamond, smoky-coloured loose diamond, EGL graded oval diamond or bespoke diamond jewellery in South Africa.
